Panned back-I think their analog emu stuff is always pretty good. But, also-it worked for the context and I spent a few minutes tweaking the sound, did a single take.and we were DONE. Sometiems I'm just lazy, but.I think the FUNCTION of a modeler is to give variety.so I could just buy the Hendrix for the one JTM45 they redid in HD.and use my own pedal board in front.and probably do a lot of what I do.a buddy wanted a solo on a tune a while back I ended up using an old Boogie in ClassA mode.I would some Mesa collection. Anyway-for me-it's a way to do sounds that aren't something I can get from my amps. Less if you're upgrading because you bought an IO box or something. And I think it's only $499 vs $299 to not worry about whether you're missing stuff that's useful. I actually DO think you need Max even in saying that, because there are peripheral stuff.the Fulltec 80s Chorus I use on EPs even when not using it as an amp sim. Plus, I feel like they added the Pultec and SaturatorX in post (but those might've been there in 4?) which I just more leave on. Even antique models sound tangibly better with a more realistic mic/room/speaker in 5. ![]() The VIR speaker bit, which was as far as I know "the upgrade".did it have new models.upgrades ALL of them. ![]() ![]() ![]() Amplitude 5 was a UUUUUge.upgrade over 4, and do note if you haven't-I've been doing this a long time and find most upgrades to music software incremental to trivial and sometimes (in the case of multiple companies organ emualtions) WORSE than previous versions.
